It was my mom’s suggestion to enlist Uncle Rolly’s help in searching for and purchasing my first home. A familiar and friendly face to our family for many years, Uncle Rolly came by the house one evening and laid out the home buying process, step-by-step. Within a week, we were checking out homes. After visiting a range of different home types, I narrowed down my search to condominiums. He eased my dread of HOA fees and was accommodating with both his time and resources. Whenever I expressed frustration or worry, which was often, he’d always say, “Let me worry about it so you don’t have to.” Of course, I worried anyway but I appreciated his efforts to relinquish any doubts or fears that were clouding our progress.

Whether it was through text, email or phone, Uncle kept me updated and the line of communication remained open even after I finalized my home purchase.
